Check-In Time

How early can we check into our suite? Check-in time begins at 4pm. In the event that your room is not ready, we recommend that you pack a smaller bag with bathing suits and swim gear and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car. Stop by the front desk to let us know you’re here and pick up your waterpark wrist bands. There are lockers, showers and changing areas available for your use in the waterpark.

We require guest checking in to be at least 21 years of age. Photo ID is required upon check-in along with credit card for incidental charges.

Check-Out Time

What time is check-out? Check-out time is 11 a.m. As our guest, please feel free to enjoy the waterpark facilities until closing. Just pack a smaller bag with bathing suits and swim gear and leave the rest of your luggage locked in your car. For your convenience we offer express check-out via your room phone or TV LodgeNet services.

Story Time

When and where is story time? GREAT Forest Friends Show and Story Time! Make sure you wear your PJ's as you come on another GREAT adventure with our Forest Friends in the Grand Living Room. Then listen to two GREAT stories with either Wiley or Biko. Every night at 8:00pm.

Supervision

Who watches my kids in the waterpark? All children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times in the water park. Only children 13 and older may be in the waterpark without immediate, nearby parental supervision. If you require babysitting services, please ask at the front desk and they may be able to assist you in finding a provider.

Waterpark Hours

When does the waterpark open? Hours can vary seasonally, so check your copy of “Lodge Life” at check-in.

Safety

How many lifeguards do you have? You’ll see the 100’s of lifeguards we employ as part of our Risk Management Program and you may observe some of the regular drills and tests performed during operations. What you may not see, is the extensive training and certification these guards receive through aquatic risk management authority Ellis & Associates. Ellis & Associates also performs multiple unannounced operational audits each year testing our professionalism, scanning techniques, rescue skills and emergency response. Please be advised that you may see small dolls in the pools during training excercises.

What to Bring

What should we pack / bring? Veterans recommend a few essentials for the Great Wolf Lodge experience:

• Swimsuit/Cover-Up
• Plastic bag to carry wet suits home
• Swim goggles, Earplugs, Flip flops, Aqua socks

• Exercise clothing
• Reading materials
• Warm PJ’s/Slippers to wear to Story Time

We provide towels in the waterpark area. If you’re not swimming, you may still wish to bring comfortable clothing for our 84-degree waterpark area.

Cleanliness

How clean are the rooms and waterpark? Our resort hotels consistently rank in the top 5% of resort hotels in cleanliness – as measured by you, our guests! Our housekeeping staff works tirelessly to ensure each room is cleaned to the highest standards and to keep our common areas spotless. Our waterpark utilizes state-of-the art water purification equipment to ensure our water is as clean as possible for our guests. To minimize the noxious effects of chemicals like chlorine, Great Wolf has developed industry-leading technology to balance effectiveness and guest comfort. We use ultra-violet purification technology to ensure that viruses and bacteria that could escape chlorination are effectively eliminated. Lastly, our cleanliness standards require that we enforce our rules regarding swim diapers: all diaper dependant guests must wear waterproof swim diapers while in our waterpark area. Our retail stores have swim diapers available for a nominal fee.

Spa Information

Are spa services available? Yes, Elements is a full-service spa with a Zen-like atmosphere. Get a massage, manicure, pedicure or facial. Reservations are recommended. Click for our menu of services.

Where can I get my morning coffee, latte or cappuccino? Van Houtte coffee can be found at Canoe Coffee, just off the lobby.

Fitness Center

We have a fitness center, so bring your workout clothing. Our Iron Horse™ Fitness Room has treadmills, elliptical trainer, recumbent bike, weight machines, stretching mats and TVs to make your workout enjoyable.

Cub Club

What is Cub Club? Cub Club offers edutainment crafts and programs that teach kids about nature and the creatures of the Northwoods. It’s a Great Wolf tradition where kids can make it, watch it, hear it, play it, read it, try it and often take it home as a souvenir. Check the “Lodge Life” guide you’ll receive at check-in for activities which change daily. An adult must accompany all children, age 12 and under, while attending Cub Club activities.

P. J. Party - NO PARENTS ALLOWED. Join in on the fun every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7-9:30 p.m.  Experience the best of Colour Your Own items and painting crafts. Experience a GREAT personalized visit from Wiley or Biko then kick back with some milk & cookies. Inquire with the Cub Club for availabilty. Pre-registration is mandatory before 5pm on day of party.

Is there a business center? Each suite is equipped with complimentary wireless internet access. Printing, faxing and regular mail service can be requested from the front desk.

Do you have an ATM? Yes, there is an ATM in every Great Wolf Lodge. Please ask a pack member where it is located.

Dining

What dining options are available? Great Wolf Lodge offers a wide range of dining options for the whole family. Our Antler Shanty Grub and Camp Critter Bar and Grille are open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you’re a family on the move you can pick up a snack or lighter meal option in our Canoe Coffee off the Grand Living room or Bear Claw Cafe outside the water park. If you are looking to indulge we have a Pizza Hut Express outside the water park or our Spirit Island Cafe conveniently located inside the water park. Crazy Loon is also available for your dining pleasure seasonally on the patio at our outdoor pool.

Food & Fridges

Can I store or prepare food in our suite? The suites have a microwave and an efficiency style refrigerator, approximately 3’ tall and 2’ wide with a small freezer compartment.

DVDs & Entertainment

Can I hook up my DVD or video game console using the TV in the suite? No, our TVs are not compatible with outside DVD, video or video game consoles. Movies, Nintendo games and music may be purchased in your suite via our LodgeNet system.

Laundry

Are there laundry machines? Yes, we have coin-operated laundry machines.

Attire & Footwear

What kind of clothing and footwear will we need? We recommend that you bring bathing suits, aqua socks or flip flops and a cover up for the 84-degree water park.

Lockers

Do you have a locker room and lockers for guests? Yes, a locker room with small lockers is available for your use. Complimentary lockers are available on a daily basis. Larger items, such as luggage, will need to be kept in your room or vehicle.

Internet / WiFi

Can I get internet access? Wireless internet access is available throughout our Lodges, which you can access from your room or common areas.  Also, wired access is also available at our Lodges that have Business Centers within our conference function space.

Babysitters

Does the lodge provide babysitters? If you require babysitting services, please ask at the front desk and they may be able to assist you in finding a provider.

Pets

Can we bring pets? No, for the health and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow any pets into the Lodge. Many locations can refer you to local pet hotels or boarding options. Service dogs are allowed in the hotel, but not allowed into the waterpark due to municipal health codes.

Towels

Do we need to bring towels? No, there are towels in the waterpark for your use as well as bathing towels in your room. You may wish to bring a beach towel or cover up as we ask that the towels stay in the waterpark area.

Deposits

Is a deposit required to hold my reservation? Yes, we require one night’s stay plus tax be paid as an advance deposit to hold the reservation. This can be paid by credit card. If you are making the reservation more than 4 weeks in advance, we can accept a personal check for the deposit.

Groups & Meetings

What arrangements are available for groups or meetings? Be it a wedding, corporate meeting, youth group or class trip, our sales and catering staff is eager to help you plan a great stay. Great Wolf Lodges offer spacious meeting rooms equipped with wireless and other state-of-the-art meeting amenities. Inclement Weather

What if bad weather prevents us from using our reservation? You will be refunded your deposit less a $25 processing fee so long as you cancel more than 72 hours prior to your arrival date. If your plans change at the last minute (or within those 72 hours), call us and we’ll try to rebook your trip for different dates. You would only forfeit your deposit if we couldn’t rebook your getaway at all.

Guests & Passes

Can other people use the waterpark with us? Our waterpark is exclusively reserved for our guests. In the event you have visitors during your stay, a limited number of additional Visitor Passes (valid for one day only) may be purchased.
